This updated document builds on the Botanic Gardens Conservation Strategy (1989) and the International Agenda for Botanic Gardens in Conservation (2000) and extensive consultation between botanic gardens and other organizations and individuals. It provides a framework that will be of great value to the whole botanic garden community in addressing a wide range of conservation issues.
